MOSHI TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

You will be picked up at your hotel in Moshi/Arusha after breakfast. Then drive together with your guide to Lake Manyara Park located within the valley. The journey takes about 3 hours. The park is dominated by the lake which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but there also are many other bird species like cormorants, pelicans, and storks. a complete of about 400 different bird species located in the park. The park is additionally famous for its tree-climbing lions, which are usually found within the central and open parts of the park. During the safari, you may also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and plenty of other animal species. Late afternoon you'll drive to the outskirts of the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for a hot shower dinner and overnight.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO MOSHI.

Today you’ll rise early morning and drive to Tarangire park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and huge herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas within the south making it a pretty and special location, where up to 300 elephants may be found, trying to find underground streams within the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo also can be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. In Tarangire by chance you'll be able to also see the tree-climbing African pythons. This park is additionally home to a few rare species of animals – the kudu, the Fringed eared Oryx, further as a long-necked gerenuk. Here you may enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch, thereafter depart to Moshi where you'll proceed your journey to Zanzibar or your trip back home.
