MOSHI/ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Known to host the most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of over one million wildebeest and zebra, gazelle heading to and from Maasai Mara River and Ngorongoro Highlands in search of fresh grass and water, other popular wild animals include the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino and many other predators’ cheetah, wild dog, jackal, and hyena just a few to name. Serengeti also inhabits over 350 species of birds both migratory and resident. Enjoy an awesome game drive and in the evening, you will have a shower, dinner, and overnight.
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS
This morning, after enjoying a beautiful Serengeti sunrise, Depart early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. After brunch, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater on your way you have the option to visit Oldupai Gorge, home of our earliest ancestors and the most famous archaeological site in East Africa. Thereafter, make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you spend the night on top of the crater rim, granting you an awarding view of the crater floor. NGORONGORO CRATER TO MOSHI
Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife with diversities of habitant with high chance of witness the endangered Rhino and other big five animals.
